Catherine is our CEO and partner in Wind Sun Sky Entertainment. Adapting big brands into digital content is one of her most notable areas of expertise. She most recently produced the global event film, The Angry Birds Movie, based off the hugely successful game. A daunting yet incredible career challenge, was adapting the Star Wars franchise. Working with George Lucas directly, she built the team, oversaw the development and produced the first animated Star Wars movie and highly rated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She is currently adapting and producing a series for Robert Kirkman based on one of his properties.

Catherine has consulted, produced and/or worked with most of the major content producers in North America including; Fox Feature Animation/Blue Sky Studios, DisneyToons Animation, Hanna-Barbera/Turner Productions, HBO Original Programming, MTV, LucasFilm, Skybound Entertainment LLC, Spin Master Entertainment and Illumination Entertainment. Winder co-authored the industry handbook “Producing Animation” for Focal Press.

Krista Kelloway

Colin is a multifaceted content development, production, and network operations professional. The award winning feature Monster Beach for Cartoon Network; a successful co-production with CCTV China (programming that delivered audiences of 250+ million viewers); an innovative interactive app connecting user experience to content; as well as a fresh pre-school network where he grew the production and operation capacity of from a single feed broadcast to a 30+ territory channel broadcasting in 7 languages around the world.

Colin is an 8 year veteran of Turner Entertainment where he aided in establishing key brands, working both in production management and creative development roles in Original Productions, Creative Services, and L&M. Focusing on the transformation of brands across mediums, as well a development of fresh toons within the pilot development program allowed Colin to develop strong relationships with studios, networks and creatives in Asia and the Pacific region. During his tenure at Turner Entertainment Colin regularly employed those relationships in building and overseeing virtual studio models servicing international co-productions.

Colin’s more than 20 years in media started while he funded his education in Systems Analysis and Design at Deakin University in Australia by working as a voice actor and writer on a large slate of content for networks like Animax Asia, Disney Asia, Pogo, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network as well as in service of storied Asian content companies (working on classics like Toho Films’ Godzilla film series). His roots in creative development coupled with his education in design-led solutions remain a grounding balance in his approach to success. Colin is an advocate of agile teams, providing strong support for creative vision, and exploration and support of new talent and creative in order to build properties and products across traditional and digital mediums that engage through character, story and experience.

Colin grew up in Canada, is a Canadian and British citizen as well as a permanent resident of New Zealand.

Kylie Ellis

Supervising Producer

As Supervising Producer, Kylie oversees the production of our animated dramatic series for Amazon, Invincible based on Robert Kirkman’s comic. Through Kylie’s more than 20-year career in the industry she has worked in a range of production roles on all sorts of animated projects including Ed, Edd n’ Eddy for Cartoon Network and Bob the Builder for HiT Entertainment, as well as feature films Escape from Planet Earth and Ratchet and Clank. Her passion is collaborating with artistic, technical and production talent to provide a creative collaborative environment in which teams can thrive.

Paul Furminger


Paul Furminger got his start in Visual Effects at Rainmaker Digital Pictures, working on television shows like Stargate: SG-1 and feature films like I, Robot and Tropic Thunder. In VFX, he earned a reputation for his creative problem-solving abilities and was often called upon to fix or redesign tough shots and sequences. Being a natural storyteller, he gravitated towards editorial, eventually editing and directing commercials and video game trailers. Read More

Lisa Snelling

Director of Production Operations

Lisa runs the day-to-day studio. She loves collaborating with film-makers, artists and kick-ass production teams in a co-creative and inspired environment. She is a great person to reach out to if you want to learn more about WSS. She has worked in office administration for various industries over 30 years, and has an education in visual arts (UBCO BFA). Wilson Tang

Prior to film and animation Wilson worked in Kyoto, Berlin, and Vancouver as an architect. Wilson is a designer at heart, fluent in the language of architecture, games, technology, UX, films, and polygons. These roles have touched on development, production, and distribution including associate producing a comedic spoof that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. She is a past director of Women and Film in Television.

Daniel Morton


Daniel comes from the investment banking industry spending the majority of his career on financing and transactions in the international technology space with a focus on start-ups, operations, and investments restructuring and process efficiencies. Prior to joining WSS he was M&A transaction advisor for Asian Online Media Company ($500M valuation). He worked as CFO for mobile start-up (dba KLAMR) in San Francisco, Singapore and Vietnam. Jenna Nagler

As our coordinator, Jenna is the company’s bridge builder—connecting our team, creators, and partners. Her enthusiastic approach makes the development and production of our projects that much more fun. Her care and attention to detail helps keep everything running smoothly. Jenna worked as assistant to the Producers on the Angry Birds Movie (2016) where she was involved in all areas of the project. She has a passion for environmental sustainability and education acquired during her time with Global Visions International.

Anastasia Walker

Executive Producer’s Assistant/Office Coordinator

Anastasia hails from Spruce Grove, Alberta, where her love of theatre helped push her to develop both on and off-stage productions, leading her to discover a passion for filmmaking. Ana enrolled at the Art Institute of Vancouver, and her commitment earned her spots as a director, editor, and producer for three graduating class projects and the ‘Best of Show’ award for her portfolio.

Ana began working as a producer and filmmaker for local Vancouver commercial companies, and then as a Production Manager on her first feature film, The Prodigal Dad, which premiered at the Whistler Film Festival in 2017. Most recently, Ana worked as the Post Production Coordinator on AMC and Skybound North’s Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics.


The film-makers behind such notable projects as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and Outcast, Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, are minority partners in the venture along with entrepreneur Jon Goldman (Greycroft Capital).

Big news for Summoners out there!

We are thrilled to announce our part in the Summoners War expansion creative process, from 2D character development to 3D animation.

During the Summoners War World Arena Championship 2018 (SWC 2018) parent company Com2uS released a teaser for the upcoming Summoners War Animated Short. This short gives fans a behind the scenes peek at what goes into adapting a beloved IP into animation.

Summoners War is the flagship mobile RPG developed by Com2us. Launched globally in 2014, the game has ranked #1 grossing in RPG games in 108 countries (App Store) and in 96 countries (Google Play). Summoners War features over 1,000 unique characters and provides a premium mobile RPG experience gamers are able to enjoy anytime and anywhere.

We are excited to announce the premiere of Super Dinosaur on September 8th, 2018 as a part of Canadian network Teletoon’s fall lineup. This 26 episode television series was created in partnership with Spin Master.

Leaping from the pages of the comic book series by Robert Kirkman & Jason Howard, SUPER DINOSAUR is an animated half-hour action/comedy series aimed at kids 6–11. The series focuses on DEREK DYNAMO (10) and his best-friend SUPER DINO (12) a genetically engineered Tyrannosaurus Rex with human-level intelligence and an aptitude for awesome combat gear.

Further to our licensing work with Big Blue BubbleSkybound Entertainment and Alita’s Brand Bar, we are excited to announce our new joint licensing program with Commonwealth Toys and FanWraps.

Commonwealth toys are known for their ever growing line of licenses including Angry Birds, Sponge Bob, and PAW Patrol among many others. We will be working to produce a complete line of plush toys from the hit game My Singing Monsters.  The first characters will be rolled out in time for the 2018 holiday season and will be available through e-commerce and select retailers.

FanWraps is a graphics and accessories company that specializes in creating high performance outdoor vehicle wraps. They are most known for their Star Wars and Fallout lines. We will be creating a line of automotive products, home décor, collectibles and electronic accessories based off of the My Singing Monsters characters. These accessories are expected to debut in late 2018.

From page to screen, we are excited to announce our involvement in bringing ‘Invincible’ to life!

The ‘Invincible’ comic series created by Skybound’s Robert Kirkman has been greenlit for 8 hourlong episodes by Amazon Studios. We at Wind Sun Sky will be spearheading the development endeavor led by Executive Producer, Catherine Winder.

Invincible is an adult superhero show that revolves around Mark Grayson, a normal teenager except for the fact that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet. Shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Mark begins to develop powers of his own and enters into his father’s tutelage.
